I’m Brian, but most people call me BCK. I’m from the beautiful city of Chicago but I've been living in Los Angeles for almost 15 years.

Back at home I shot my first commercial, studied improv at iO, performed sketch comedy, and co-created a web series. And I've built on all of that in LA. I've now shot more than twenty commercials, completed improv training at UCB, and wrote & acted in several short films, sketches, and live shows. I'm also part of the sketch comedy group Knapsack Comedy!

Aside from acting & writing I also work with a new media start-up called Important, Not Important. We cover the news most vital to our survival as a species and focus on actions that we can all take to better the world! We put out a weekly newsletter and we also have a podcast that I cohost! We're Webby-nominated for both so you should probably check us out!

I also run a neighborhood Italian restaurant called Met Him At a Bar that serves some of the best homemade pasta in the city! With recipes from our owner's family cookbooks and a killer bar program, it is not to be missed!

I love basketball, coffee, sci-fi, a good beer, space, my cat, listening to music, being outside, and other stuff!
